Depends on how serious you go for it.
Serious: Use ReflexRacing soft bladders and 6.2 spring set,
Damn serious: If you are looking for the last tenth go for TC5 suspension parts (except for the hubs) for the front and TC4 arms and Yokomo hubs for the rear. Additionally change the roll bars to Yokomo or TC5 version.
This changes the geometry and the car is much more easy and consistent to drive.

Yea the rsd bladders and springs; though I've never ran other than blue front/lt blue rear. Don't forget to drill small holes in the cap. I ran 35 wt oil

There is a really good video here for tips:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHJqOgI9xqY

There are alot of other aftermarket things; its debatable if its worth it; I have rsd arms with in my opinion are far superior. I went with Xray 1.4 front and 1.2 rear sway bar.

The best hop up is attention to proper setup detail.

I really don't understand why everyone switches the bladders out, I've tested multiple bladders and always go back to the stock ones. I'd say at least try the stock ones before trying other brands.

DCJ front drives 31632 and steel spool outdrives 31638 would be nice add-ons. You'll also need 31380 bearings to fit the DCJ's. AE X-Rings 91493 will last longer and will be smoother than the stock O-Rings. I use the Tuning Haus aluminum rear universal bones to cut down some rotating mass as well.

The car should be fine right out of the box really, but if you want some nice add-ons those will help make it even more competitive!

Being in SoCal there really can't be a better starter car. There should be an AE driver at most of the local races out here that can get you on track if you are having trouble. If you're up for trying carpet I race at TQ every other Sunday in their series and practice there often, ever need a hand just stop by my pit! After the series is over I'll be back outdoors, usually try to hit a decent amount of different tracks since we have them to choose from.

Can you elaborate what the TC5 front arms and steering knuckles and TC4 rear arms and Yokomo hubs change? Does it have to do with roll center?

What I have understand is, the tc4 arms in rear are shorter makes de car easier to be stable in turns, but if you use the( ***) (*** ) insert in FR and( ***) (*** ) in RR, you make the car also smaller.... So this has the same effect?
