Ask Todd Putnam, Ask Jim Deiter, Ask Mike Reedy, Ask Eric Anderson.....you don't need to believe me....(search hobby talk, you find Todd making the statement)....even Big Jim made the statement on his forum.
As for the dyno, dunno....I rarely use them at races(I usually don't even bring it).....the track lets me know if its fast.....we use the dyno for production stuff, but I never build production stuff really, and usually then its modified stuff.
In the end, all dyno's, even the TD45 can be tricked....

hey eddie o
just a quick question, im sure its been asked a thousand times so im sorry for asking again haha
but, what are your reccomendations for spring/brush combo's in monster stocks and also epic ROAR stocks???
at the moment most of my monsters have red pos, green neg and trinity 4499 'e' brushes, one of the motors has the same set-up but putnam green on both sides. as for my roar stocks, they have red/green set up also i think one has 4499s or 767s, and the other DID have narrowed putnam green/blue combo but now has team atlas sprint silver brushes both sides- i've yet to run it with these brushes though
if you could help me out that would be greatly appreciated, if you could find the time or be bothered to tell me what gains i will get out of this set-up or your reccommended that would be even better again
thank you very much
cheers,
robbie

I just dynoed my monster stock and at 7.2 volts it pulles about 29,000 RPMs. Is that good or is that really low. I heard it should pull about 40,000 RPMs at 7.2 volts.

P2K - most torque with low RPM's
P2K2 - Mix of Torque and RPM
Monster - Less Torque than a P2K2 but lot more RPM
CO27 - Torque of a P2K2 with about the same if not more RPM
We have all the above in stock at the address below... If we dont offer a tuning preference for what you need e-mail us and we will work with you..
Best of luck with your motor venture.

thanks
I currently have a couple of monsters and one P2K2.
Been only using the monsters, I'll have to rebuild the P2k2 and see how it works.
any suggestions on brushes/spring combo for alot of pull out of a corner.
thanks.
