They need to do something about the truggy arms. I have some OCM sent me and they break if you breath on them wrong. I have been selling the hell out of Caster K8T arms for people with OCM truggies.

There were 2 kinds of material in the truggy arms. One that holds (it's more flexible also) and one that breaks more easily (stuff that appeared when the production in china was on). Now that all is back in Taiwan they will come with the same material that the buggy arms are and it will not have any issue. Anyway not all are bad as we have guys using OCM arms w/o issues. So good for you that you can still sell some Caster arms in the mean time. Other options are Mugen arms and also with some dremel work you can use HN X1 rear arms.

BTW when do you think they will have the Caster truggy diffs worked out ?

After the first few guys local to me had problems when the first shimmed them, they have not had a failure yet. They figured out what to do and maintain them. That General guy just liked to cause trouble and so badly wanted me to say there was a problem and so I did to get him gone. 6 other people local to me have been running the truggy for about 2 months now without a single failure yet.

I think what was happening is the screws that hold the ring gear down to the diff cup are too short. You cannot get a good bite on them to tighten them down. Some diffs that blew, when removed from the bulkhead found the screws loose and starting to back out causing the mesh to get too loose and stripping out internals. We put 12mm long screws in there and they tighten down way better and use some super glue or shoe goo and they have been fine since.

Default OCM

Any one converted the buggy with a brushless setup. I am done with my
conversion but it's either snowing and freezing or raining all day in IL.
I can't do a test run.

you will have to ask ..
Holeshot can have them
or else special-rc on ebay has the new one
3-3-1 should be very forgiving I guess

I ran 3-5-1 once and had much offpower steering
but not enough onpower
so rather try 7-5-1 or 2
