We don't race there on Tuesdays! So whether or not it is dead doesnpt really matter to me. All that I know is that it was packed last night!

We did not ask them to alter the layout to accommodate.

If you dislike the technical layout so intensely, why not talk to them about it.

I personally prefer a less technical layout because I like to open up my micro but I will take what I can get.

Do they have an ETA on that XRay Mini?

I'm basing it on HPI's sales...not one track's racing group..

Naturally as any car ages, sales will decrease.

This is most definitely not limited to the HPI.

The Micros outsold the Minis by a large margin......and the micros are pretty much dead..

why bring back a class that has already proven to not generate any business?...
The 12th scale XRay and Yokomo touring cars cannot be compared to the HPI mini. The HPI mini was just a car designed for bashing around a parking lot and was never intended to be used for racing aside from mabye a fun spec class at the HPI challenege, but aside from that the HPI mini had no future from the get go. The XRay and Yokomo 12th scale TC's are competition level racing cars, comparing the XRay 12th scale to the HPI mini is like comparing an XRay Evo2 to an HPI Sprint... there just isn't a comparison aside from having four wheels and being the same size.

Well you have to consider that HPI has many other kits besides that mini. Conceivably, if people perceive the car to be an inexpensive ride, the car's customer base would be low. On the other hand, with the advent of the Yoke mini and the new Xray mini, perhaps the HPI mini will make a return.

Accord, I have to disagree with you on the HPI mini. I have a mini pro and I would have to say that it is on about the same plane as the yok and the new xray mini. I would say that it will be just as competitive as the yok and might be able to hold its own with the xray. I was able to get the full size touring car tires and wheels on my mini. Now all I have to do is find some way to only use four cells with the car. I will have to bring it out to the track and let you run it, you might change your mind about the mini after you drive it.

Well this class has already gotten fairly big at one of my local tracks, with only the Yok car. We have a indoor track that is just slightly too small for 1/10th TC. A lot of people have already bought the Yok car and are running them with 19t motors. Now with the X-ray it will make it even bigger.

Caddzilla- just get two cell spacers to put on the ends or re mount the battery cups.

fastharry- want to part with one of your mini pros?

I think they are at least dead for the one who don't have a track to run them, unlike a Mini Z u can use them at home

How many people with rc cars actually have a track nearby and race? The majority of those with rc's will never set foot on any track!

So unless there is a track nearby Utieh, all rc's are dead.

Sounds like a track for a 540 micro! Do stock 1/10 tourers run there? Or is it just 1/8?
