I dont know if they are any stronger, but they are stiffer, better for high grip tracks. I only have broken a graphite rear hub carrier, and it was in a hell of an impact, put an L bend in my driveshaft at the same time, but everything else stayed fine...

I ordered a bundle of spares from Speedtech, and even bought a few last Tuesday at SoCal. Dont know that I'll really need all of em, but never hurts to have em on hand.

Hopefully nothin will get stolen, but hard to know how much of the stuff Steve's got. I want to go check out the shop sometime, not far away from SoCal where I race.

Yeah lucky you, you live out there where it's nice all the time. I decided to give my sisters boyfriend my Ofna OB4 pro nitro car to get him started in RC. I dont need it anymore since I race a 705. I think he'll have a blast (they live La Jolla) and there are so many tracks/rc racers out there. I'll bring it out when I come out in Feb.

I'm guessing you wont be running pro stock, so grab a monster motor, gear around 7.0-7.3 depending on the layout.

I ran the XXXS before I switched to SD. Both cars are capable of carrying a ton of cornerspeed, which is why I like them. I feel that the Yokomo has a little more power coming out of the turns though, much less resistance in the drivetrain.
