another good weekend of Racing........Well......i was mixing it up with BigDog for the first five mins........We had the same pit biotch.....when i came in for fuel he was already buzy......so i got behind at that point.......also that "Dukes of Hazard" jump i made in the back end of the track didnt help either...........ever seen a notro car 3 feet in the air??..LOL!

anyway,we did find out that you cant run more than 5 mins at that track(on foam).....The tires are totally shot at the 5 min mark!!..........

Sounds like a pretty good day of racing. Wish we could have been there.

I raced my Xray 808 2011 spec for the first time (No worries...on-road is it for us) this weekend. The thing was nice. Qual'ed 4th in tha A for a big local race here in KY. The 808 drove more like a touring car....lol. I blew a a clutch bearing at the end of the 30 minute main but at least i got to burn up some nitro. ha

I will bring the 8th scale on road

The 808 and the inner bearing on the RX8 take a 5x12x4 bearing. Not a lot of those in my spare bearing box....ha. I will have to stock up on them I guess.

Jeff,sitting here dreaming of the Byrons Race.......UM.....what kinda of Gears do i need to get??...i only have a few and i know that track is HUGE,FAST......
also do i need to change belt gearing??
...i only have a 4 day turnaround when i return from florida....so i have got to order next week before i leave.......

I was told 2 weeks ago the fathers day race would be postponed to a later date . But have never seen it posted up.... been Tring to get official word on the matter but ........ so if there is a race this weekend I hope u guys have fun.

I have to be at my sisters wedding sat.. Family cookout sun..
My father had a heart attack lastweek and is fine and at home..
So ill be with him sunday.. Who can pull the trailer and lay track out..

CONGRATULATIONS go Out to Bigdog Lutz and Syco Sid for their showing at the BYRONS Race this past weekend....also,Props to some of our other regulars....the Whitings put on quite a show.....i understand Loran was in the A Main in both 200mm and 8th scale.....

I turned a lot of wrenches....does that count? Naaaa I was in the B sedan and had some problems but the car was very good. Emily was very quick too but never got a good qual in and got punted in her main. No more sportsman for Emily.
