M12 Curve calculator. Change the curve(b) value to anything between 0 (very curvy) and 100 (lineair) to calculate the 9 point percentages values. The option is in the Racing Menu. Go to curve and set the type to CRV. Then fill out the 9 point values from the sheet which results in the exact same mathematical parabole as in the sheet. Its not going to win you races but at least you know the values represent the perfect parabole.

Lightbulb M12s-RS Telemetry issue

I am using Sanwa M12s-RS with RX482, and Reedy 510R ESC, all working fine; however I am not getting any telemetry data. Did I set them wrong? Please help!

The 510r doesn't send any data back to the receiver. You either need to buy the additional sanwa sensors, or use a sanwa ESC to get the telemetry data.

Rx 482 should be telemetry capable. Telemetry sensors for temperature & rpm are at the bottom of this page:

It is telemetry capable (I use it) but you have to use a sanwa esc and sanwa servo. There are no ports for external sensors. For motor temp on a sanwa esc you need to confirm that the temp sensor is embedded in the motor and comes across the ribbon cable. Some motors have it some dont. A reedy splus did not have it so I added a 10k ntc thermistor to the ribbon cable and attached it to the can. i have a monster max that has the embedded sensor so not hodge podge required. If you dont need servo telemetry then you dont need a sanwa servo.

By the way. It has to be one of the greatest things ever to always know motor temp and have automatic handling of over temp. I can adjust timing in tiny increments based on the track and ambient. No sensors required. Once I work out the exact timing through the m12 electronically I can just take it all out of the transmitter and adjust it into the end bell.

Bry195 is correct, the RX482 isn't compatible with those temperature and rpm sensors.
For future reference, neither are RX481, RX472, RX471.

Does anyone know of any good / cheap aftermarket receivers that support the FH4T SHR / SSR response and have at least one temp sensor input?
Or are RX461 / 462 the only options?

I agree it's amazing to have live temperature data and management, it's a shame Sanwa doesn't make a 1/8 speed control to allow every class this benefit without the external sensor clutter and cost of getting a new RX.

I know nothing about 1/8 but the sv pro blah blah blah is ludicrous current. If i would have known i only needed 90 amps peak in 17.5 touring I wouldn’t have bought all those pro blah blah blahs. I think they are rated to like 400 amps. I can confirm the sport versions (cheap) can handle a 17.5 touring car at 90 amps peak without losing an amp.

By the way you can add any sensor...temp, rpm, ....if its resistance is in the range of a 10k ntc thermistor by patching it into the brushless ribbon cable.

Sucks that telemetry advertised receivers are really telemetry. No wonder the sensor are cheaper than other brands :-(

then please instruct me on what I’m doing wrong. 482 receiver Muchmore Fleta speedconteol? If the motor temp feature is only capable with a Sanwa speedo and servo then keep the Telemetry receiver and give the world a cheaper regular receiver. I have the temp sensor made for the Sanwa system yet it doesn’t work. How is yours working?
