Or wanted a replacement centre shaft that you would replace it with a blue one. Or should, after forking out quite a large sum of money for the black, condemn it to a life of shelf queen?

I have not run it yet as after I realised there was no part availibility I'm to scared to. Am probably going to get the exo6 conversion and some blue parts, thinking I should have maybe bought the blue model instead.
Yes unfortunately there is no place in the states that I could find that has the black parts. I did however find them in Europe and Australia. Google evo6 and scroll couple of pages. They have an ebay too! You will have to pay a lot in shipping tho! Since I converted mine to the Evo conversion I'm ok with the black and blue parts. The exo conversion works great.

And thank you guys, for some tipps about setup ....

i could manage to get TQ last weekend, in our 17,5T blinky race. (LRP Challenge)
And won the first A main too, but then, after leading in the 2nd and 3rd until 1 minute to go, i got that nervous to loose the race, and finish as 2nd overall...

But still i am happy
23 entries and really fast competitors ..
Is that the HPI corvette body?

I'll get a couple pics of mine up later. I bought 2 black editions since I generally don't like anno of any color for all the aluminum parts. Black and gunmetal generally look the best with splashes of color.

As far as replacement parts all of the plastics are the same for both kits. Only the black anno parts are different. And other than ball studs I don't really see anything else needing replacement. It might be cheaper to find another used black edition for those few parts that might bend/break. Also for the tie blocks, Exotek makes black ones that fit so you should be covered there.

The car is great BTW. Mine was pretty good from the start with a very drivable set up. Just fine tuning now.

He are my black edition Exo6's with some "splashes" of blue.

I already have to add weight to both to make 1450 and 1550g, so as much as I want a few blue alumnum screws in going to refrain for now on those. Finding places to put the weight whime maintaining balance is hars, especially with the Exo aluminum chassis.

Professor, I like the mix of blue and black, nice job. Having trouble though with finding parts via the google evo6 search though. I may even just swap all the black for blue and run it, keeping the black stuff if I ever sell it or for the shelf, the exo setup is sweet though and as soon as money permits will grab it.

Thanks. The only things I wish I could find now are white ball cups that fit the tamiya ball studs and are available in the U.S.

Or if you insist on buying in the states, get the white cups from VBC and change ball studs.

Finally. And at only $69 MSRP!!! for that low low price I'll get a dozen for spares...

I really hope they cost less than $30 each by the time they actually hit hobby shops. I can't drop $280 for bulkheads for 2 cars.
