IMO scale courses should be as real as possible and correspond with the size tires you mostly run on it. Medium size rocks lost of dirt and hills, Most of the scale stuff I have set up is broken up and placed around my yard....it looks like landscaping but it works in a bunch of different directions. Some of the obstacles are very tough and require winching or a pull from another vehicle. most of the sections are 100 feet apart or more so it's like a mini G6 every time I run it.

If woods are where you will be doing the scaling just collect some logs and stuff naturally found in your area . Rocks and dig some drops and little obstacles as such and you should be ready to hit it.

Sorry to bring back a thread from the past, but I like the idea here. Does anyone have any pictures to share of their backyard courses? I am specifically looking for obstacles that wouldn't look completely out of place in a regular backyard. Is there a cheap and easy way to create some terrain that could maybe be moved if necessary?
