And don't forget most metal gear servos have one plastic gear in the system as a weak link!!! So if it breaks....it breaks.... regardless of metal or plastic!
the way to secure the output port of the servo gear is to use longer servo horn screws. I used to tap the original wood screw hold to 3mm for stronger connection

How frequent do you put on and take off your horn? Frankly, I seldom do that. Even if your gears went worn, there are replacement parts out there. You can't expect everything went perfect without wearing in R/C. To me, I've tried 9402, 2000, 2015, 2143, 2144, etc., 2015 is always my pick for EP.
but doont you think that 0.05sec is a bit OVERKILL for the ep car??

Fai, i have bought the alloy batt hold down bar, 2.1mm upper deck and alloy shocks body (from square) to make my LE kit over $2,000. I think I will only get the alloy spur adapter then. Thanks for your advise ! Are u running the stock springs or what ?
