Hi all,

Setting up my T2-009EU for lipos over Xmas and found a Rubber Spec Graphite Pads Set (Part# 301186) which will allows me to extend the top deck.

Problem I've noticed is that the part only appears to be suitable to T2-009's that arent using the Forward Motor Upgrade
I've hunted around (googled) and can't find anything similar for 009s with the forward motor update... or am I missing something?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Andrew

i would suggest not using the lipo pads as they stiffen your car up and will not have as much corner speed

Good call but unfortunately I cant get the lipo under the topdeck without extra bit of height the graphite pads add.

It's really not necessary to put it under the top deck.

just use a lipo weight tray place the lipo on the tray at a slight angle up against the top deck and tape down. lipo will only hang off the chassis near the rear about an 1/8th of an inch or so.

Just wondering if 3/32 diff balls are close enough in size to the xray balls (2.4mm). Has anyone used these, or just the 2.4 xray balls?

They're the same (or close enough). I use the Niftech 3/32 diff balls.

You will need to hang the battery out to achieve side to side balance. I use the Xray Lipo balancing blocks, keeps the battery in very well, plus you can add the carbon battery strap which makes taking the battery in and out far easier.

If you add the lipo balancing weights from xray, they move the battery out some and they do not need to fit under the top deck.
