Nice to hear that you did well Steve, congrats. Any other Darkside cars in the "A"?

Customworksking, sorry I didn't get to see you post in time. shoot me an e-mail at [email protected], lets see if I can get you some more steering. Sounds like something was either broken or set-up wrong. Lack of steering is not a known problem with that chassis.

Brandon and Steve-Nice job! How did the cars feel in stock? What did you think of the changes to the rear end?

How about your set ups?

Thanks again guys for believing in the car. Seems like every race this car goes to opens a few eyes....

My car worked awesome all weekend. The rear end changes is what the car needed. The track had tons of traction. The car cornered great and keep up awesome corner speed.
I'm not sure if Brandon ran the new rear end.

Possibly, the runner up to that one was Mx2, Get one or keep chasing Mike Hayes's rear end. Just didn't have the same flow though.

I figured I'd ask here instead of the 1/12th forum where I've been following this...I know you said there's no immediate plans for a design change but was wondering now that there is a new front end available from CRC which sounds like it's dimensions are a bit more narrow then the AE...have you thought about a version made for the CRC front end?

No plans as of this point. I think that if that front becomes more popular, I would looking into adapting the chassis to it. It is really too early as of now to make that call. It might be the next big thing or it might just fade into history. If we were to go that route, I'd look at having revisions on the street for the start of next year's winter indoor season. I know of a couple of minor tweaks that will come along at that point, but they are very minor. I haven't had a chance to really look at the front end as of yet. It looks pretty trick, but I'd like to get one in my hands before I make any decisions on design changes specifically for that part.

Honestly i don't think there is a reason to change front ends now. My car works pretty darn good with the current (newer AE) one i have on it, and i think there is a bunch more parts which just makes for a lot of stuff that could go wrong. Sometimes simpler is better, some even take that even further and still use the old skool front end.
