The pitch spring controls the ride height of the chassis at the pivot, so it controls the chassis attitude. Some people run the car flat, with the pod and chassis level. Some run "sag" and let the car ride slightly lower at the pivot to let the pod "wind up" when the car accelerates. Don't run the car with the pivot area higher than the front and rear- not good. Starting off level is a good idea.
Also the stiffer the spring, the more on power steering you will have, at the expense of stability, especially in bumpy areas. A softer spring should turn a little more off power.

Sharing the weight of my V2 in its race ready form.
IMG_0390.jpg by mikeygar2000, on Flickr
Orca 4500mah 60 C batt
Tekin RS ESC in brushed mode
Silver Can motor
all hopups avaiable for the V2 except rear carbon brace
standard F60 body with standard wings
If I were to add ballast weights to meet a minimum race weight, where would the best place to install weights be? I have my electronics inline with the battery so the original locations are available, are those okay?

it depends.... I personally move with battery on race, because changing the weight balance of car can change the driveability... it goes same for additional weight... it depends...

Tried your setup and I can't get the rear end to smoothly go around the sweeper.... It doesn't spinout but it kind of skips around and makes that erp erp erp noise any suggestions?

My McLaren rear wing hits the rear cross tube on the alum motor mount. I also have the CF rear plate.
Should I space the wing back more or grind alittle of the wing where it hits or leave it?
Anyone else have this?
