Sorry about that. If you are running your fuel line between the carburetor and the cooling head, try turning the inlet nipple so it points to the right side of the car, then run your fuel tubing around the carburetor. This way the fuel is not heated by the cooling fins. It works, give it a try.

Decided to bail out of touring car. Too many rules in the air, too many people using illegal engines...I'll stick to 1.8th. I have posted the list of stuff I have for sale aroung a few places. You can see it at

Is ther anything NR has documented to fix the problems or is this just your experience talking. seems sort of wacky to me.
I would love to resolve it though.

Incase you guys missed it, new Centax clutch from Kawahara for MTX/V1R...
Looks good.
All I can see different is the one piece flyweights which arn't freely mounted (like the 4 piece Mugen units) and the metal flyweight holder.

I don't see how the clutch could work in the flyweights went over the posts on the flywheel. I'd bet that they have holes in them to lighten them.

I think the white pcs are flyweights with holes on it to reduce weight. the shoe is that one on the right side of the white flyweights. It should be designed and work the same way as mugen clutch

Does the pro spec kit come with a front gear diff and front one way or does it just come with a front one way. If the kit only comes with a front one-way where can i buy a front gear diff. Also is the negative kawahara diff good for all tracks. Please help i plan on buying and mtx-2 tonight. Tired of my HPI racer2 and i want to compete. it keeps breaking. HEEEEEEEEEELP

Negative diff is wonderful! but just heavier then solid if weight is a main concern to you but if you are not then it is the way to go! It will be good on all size track since it has diff action when the car is slow and solid axle when your rear wheel spins fast enough!
By the way, MTX-2 built pretty tough and it could take some abuse without breaking a part compare with NTC3 or RS42. Fyi, VoneR is pretty sturdy too!

Kawahara rear arms
Does anybody know where to get those "unbreakable" rear arms that come with the narrow rear end conversion?

I replaced the oneway in mine with a gear diff as I prefer the brakes also
