Right on, I know the true answer would be to stay off the boards and I wouldn't chunk foams lol.

Lurking around to see what this chassis is all about. Seems like you can use standard tires all around, and also use them all the way to the end if you flip the pod inserts. Sounds good.
My only issue are the front arms. It looks like it will shatter if you hit something. I have an old 12L4, and that front end is nearly indestructible.
Also can't change camber to adjust for coning.

Put a few more runs on the RM-01 yesterday at TQ.
The new layout is very open with a lot of Hi speed flat out corners.
This is where the RM really comes into it's own.
The chassis is getting better every run.
One of the smoothest, easy to drive 12th scales I've ever driven !
The kit tires are perfect for high grip carpet.
So far there is no coning of the front tires, the built in camber is correct.
Of course you can still adjust camber as we did back in the day, using strips of header card under the arm mounts.

As i'm new to the 1/12 class it would help me a lot to know what's possible to make some changes on this chassis.
Thx in advance

Wheels and tires
I have read this thread and have found some really good information on the new RM01. I am super excited about this car. I had one many years ago and am sad that I don't have it any longer.... wished that I still had it or kept it.
At any rate, I have a new one ordered and should arrive shortly. Can't wait!
But, that brings up a question that I did not really see asked or answered here. I would like to have a spare set of tires/wheels for my RM01 Toyota Toms. I have been feverishly searching the Internet for a parts list or a compatibility after market list.
Can you please help me out here? What are my options for getting a spare set of wheels and foam tires? What will work on this car if I can't find specific RM01 tires and wheels?
Thanks!
BTW, awesome pic's in this thread. I love it!

The kits just arrived 1 week ago.
For aftermarket wheel tire options look back 1 page.
