Cool.
Hit me up here if you have any questions about the build.

Though I probably should put up some build info here pretty soon....

Either that or a link to the manual would be great.

Sean posted a video of the 12th scale Main (i.e. shakedown run for the RM)

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Keep in mind I was trying to stay out of the way of the guys running for points, just wanted to see how she handled in a full 8 min race-pace run

Thanks Dave. Thats exactly what I wanted to see.

Will Tamiya have spare foams available at the same time the kits are released?

Thanks for TCS list. Got the LRP combo ready for this but it also says "Tamiya body sets only". I hope Tamiya has plans for the Porshe 956 and maybe some others or it will be a class of nothing but the Tom's body.

TCS 1/12th GT Rules:
5. Wheel & Tire Rules: Tamiya or any aftermarket tires and wheels.

Sounds to me like we can run our Jaco Black/Yellows at TCS.

Sure can, but the kit tires are as good or better.

Nice build Redbull!

I've really enjoyed reading it. I just might have to get one...but I'm almost out of wall space.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

Random question:

Do you really use double sided tape with Tamiya tyres, or just glue them!?

Other silly question...I assume we can paint Tamiya bodies how we want for TCS!?

I've always used double sided tape to mount foam tires with liquid detergent, to make the install easier. Just let them cure overnight and you're done. You can paint the bodies any way you like, but others prefer painting them box art.

Just remember while the rears are a direct bolt on, RM front axles are not standard, so as of now, there is no direct fit for standard 12th front wheels.

Same here, tape, then use alcohol, on tire and and rim to assemble, align, let dry, and c.a the edges, works great, no trueing necessary.
