I hear you Franko, but he needs to know me better and then we would need to be friends for me to care, but since he doesn't really know me or that we really aren't friends I don't care. He should quit talking to me or about me. He has no idea about my health or why I'm not racing alot now.

I remember a few years ago when things were tough for him and his finances but unlike him, I did not try to get "under his skin"

I'm hoping to finally get back racing this summer with the goal being TCS in late July. I've got a truck kit and bearings ordered for Euro Semi-Truck GT. Looking at the Seattle RC Racers site my best guess is that the only place this (prepped to TCS rules) would be legal is Novice. Probably not the worst idea for me since it's been over 15 years... Am I reading the rules right?

Also, I thought I remembered batteries having to be ROAR approved for SRCR but didn't see anything in the current rules. Am I correct that the LiPos simply need to be in a hard case? I'm looking at picking up a couple of the Peak "PowerMax Sport 4200 LiPo 7.4V" that Tamiya specifies as legal for the class but wanted to make sure they'd be OK at SRCR since they're not listed with ROAR.

Also, probably need to replace/upgrade my personal transponder. Last used in the late 90's or early 2000's. I think AMB changed the system since then. Does SRCR have house transponders? Trying to not break the bank all at once... LOL.

Yes, novice would be the place for your Euro truck at the SeaTac track. With its spec power and gearing the Euro truck is a bit slow on the straights so you'll need to dodge the faster novice cars there.

Your spec hardcase lipo will be fine.

I have been using a 4s 16Ah batter for over a year now that has worked out well for me.

It can easily charge 2 f1s all day with as much practice as the schedule allows. A 3rd car would push the limit.

The 5.8Ah battery you linked to would be ok to power 1 low draw car such as a mini or F1.

I have a 3 5Ah packs you can try sunday to get a better idea of how much capacity you will need.

It's a 2 wire "AMBrc DP" red transponder. Is that enough to say if it'll work?

What's the current transponder of choice (if there is a choice)? I probably ought to get a second one if I end up getting back into racing semi-regularly. Going to rummage through the old boxes of touring cars and see about a GT-2/Scale Spec type car setup. Also have a 12R5.somthing that I'd like to finally get running in stock when things get back on the carpet in the fall.
