Steve,
I will give you a call. Luckily we have only had watches and warnings...haven't seen one yet! We have been racing and testing like crazy...getting ready for the truck nats.
Indoor season is coming soon...can't wait to wheel the new sedan!

I already have a full spring set from my xray, so I should be good there. Plus a bunch of parts from my zx-5. I should get some arms though. Is there a turnbuckle set that would work for the tf-5.
Does anyone want to share a setup for rubbers on carpet. Or is the kit setup a good place to start.
Should be getting the kit this week. I really wanted the belt drive car, but man that is a bit much for me to pay, since my racing will be limited this season.
Thanks guys,
Chad

Good day at the track with the TF-5 shafty, tried running a little less rear toe-in (D in the forward mount instead of E), tried the #32 yellow spring in the rear. Both seemed to free the back end up a little. Favourite comment from a fellow racer was "where did you get that Scalextric car from!", pretty hooked up basically.
The suspension layout does seem to generate a lot of grip, and a lot of corner speed. Looking forward to trying the belt version (Kyosho Europe cars a bit delayed unfortunately).

I have now had 2 meetings with the Stallion on 2 completely different tracks. Track 1 concrete, Track 2 asphalt. As I am still waiting on springs etc to arrive I opted to run the car with the kit set up at both tracks. The performance of the car has been excellent. Very consistant with very good corner speed and lots of grip. Cant wait to get the tuning options.
I know a few people on here have expressed their concerns about the moulded bulkheads, but I have yet to have any dramas with them and the car has shown no signs of tweak.
Looking forward to the next meeting
