Joehwee, does that mean other than the both oil by Kyosho can be replace by any other silicon oil...?

Off topic...What weight(oil) are you running in your Neg. Diff? I'm thinking of moving to 5K from 1K running w/ 1ways. 5k will be better, right?

adlawoo: I have never run my rear diff anything thinner than 5K, on my negative diff, 10K is what I always been running in my RR/EVO. After I have change to 05 my negative and LSD are sitting on my tool box. Too bad the negative diff can't fit in the 05 if not I will like to try it in a shaft drive, I belive the punch out of corner will be super.

About the 05...by now, the 39T is probably available already. Thus this makes the 05 go faster in/out of the corner or give more top speed w/ the stock gearing?
Can't wait to run it anymore...it's just too cold here and I only ran my 05 twice....

What compound tires is everyone running? Right now I am using a harder front and softer rear. Either 42, 40 or 40, 37. The car is good off power but has a nagging push on power. Tried about eveything set-up wise and still now enough steering. I'm betting the same compound all around would solve my problems.

AMGRacer: You can find Ito setup for his EVO with the LSD from Kyosho Website. You can also find his setup for his FW05R there.
Adlawoo: I have not break anything in the Negative diff, cos the diff design is very simple and bullet proof. The diff use most of the parts from the normal kyosho diff expect one outdrive and the clutch. The only thing you will need to change is the clutch.
As for the 39T crown gear, I have already have mine and it is the steel one, which will definately last longer and hope it can help in the under-geared of the 05.
