It's a niche market but I would love Xray to come back with a Foam tyre version car. (Yes some of us still use these tyres, not many but some!)
You can believe it will be on rails and have the strength of a tank...

1) I want Xray to go out of the normal zone with suspension and create an Awesomatix suspension setup
and
2) consider incorporating a driveshaft with boots over the CVJ to stop grit/dirt ingress.
You can believe it will be on rails and have the strength of a tank...

Car is very good, the best club racing car on the market of the top 3 cars.
I would like to see:
Alloy shims
Graphite plastics come standard with the kit
Lower steering rack with the optional aluminum arms standard
Motor moved slightly away from center maybe 1mm so the car is easier to balanced without additional lead when using 300g plus lipos.
I would like to see:

The one thing that I questioned when I built a 2015 was the servo mount. I don't really mind the design but I'd like to see the three holes that mount it to the chassis to be unevenly spaced. With the evenly spaced it creates a pivot point so if they are loose or take a hard hit it can still pivot a little smidgen on the center screw. I have not actually had an issue with that but I did on an early 2013 car with the two screws and a center locating lug and think that an uneven spacing would help.
Also, a larger diameter pinion access hole in the chassis would be nice.

Graphite arms etc aren't suitable for lower grip conditions.
Moving the motor out will effect handling of the car. You need to either, stop worring about the balance, or buy smaller capacity lipos

At least a wider access hole to the pinion would be nice.
As far as the ECSs, I gave up on them and started using the Spec-R axles. Easier to maintain without any hassles or broken pins.
The kit is fine for now except for the cheap battery braces and I too love the orange!

I loved the version 2's but the P8's failed almost immediately at the axle threads and I had heard the same from a couple others so I have not gone back to them. I'm curious if they fixed that issue.

Stock arms are supposed to have a bit more flex and therefore generate a bit more grip, which is better on low/medium grip, graphite have less flex so make the car a bit more responsive and are better for medium/high grip.

I cant explain why but the stock arms seem to provide least grip and least stability even when the track is low grip when it is hot.

Flex in the C hubs and rear uprights certainly can increase grip but everytime I have tried stock arms vs graphite back to back the graphite arms provide more grip and more stability.
