JDM_DOHC_SiR / Dave: I'll be going back to Japan June 5-10, would you know if it would be available by then? Also, any shops nearer than those in Akihabara?
Thanks, too bad we were not able to meet up. But I was able to get my self an M11.
rainbowten has a price for it already

They were just refered to as "Group C" chassis cars, circa 1992 / 93. I have an original new in box still of the Mazda 787B. The three Le Mans kits were the Mercedes C11, Mazda 787B, and the Jaguar XJR-8, both Silk Cut colors (European Group C), and Castrol (US IMSA Spec). For "sedan"cars, they did the Nissan 300ZX IMSA GTO class car, Ferrari F40, and original Honda / Acura NSX.
They were all the same chassis but some kits had different color chassis / frame parts like black, red, or green.

These kits were actually tub cars. They use a plastic tub like the TA01 - TA04 with the suspension bolted off of them. The actual Tamiya pancar was the F103LM version. This was basically the F103 F1 chassis. They made a Hop-up carbon chassis that had a wider platform. The F103LM kits were in three versions. Porsche 911 GT-1 "Mobil-1", the Toyota TS020, and the Audi R8 all circa 1998.
