Should old people with Skills be Forced out of Racing ROAR Masters.

i think we need to end the nonsense of creating classes around motors, it should be based on lap times, all those running 11.0 to 11.4 in one class, 11.5 to 11.9 in another and on and on and on, before someone actually thinks this is a good idea, JUST KIDDING.....

I would be all for an entry level masters and a pro level masters just so we don't pick on Eli.
Actually this thread makes sense, don't we want the people who can afford R/C racing the most, I.E. the "older" more affluent to get interested and start racing? I mean how am I supposed to get my dad into racing if he has to race against Eli??? That's why the hobby is dying!

Some other threads have brought up the issues with sand bagging in our hobby. I've got another bone to pick: old people who can still drive dominating the masters class.
Should a 40+ year old be allowed to race masters if he continually dominates the field, has 2-5 lap advantage every race, and when he's at home racing against younger "kids" he's always winning? Or should they be pushed out until they start to suck a little?
If you were a 50 year old dude with some skill would you be real happy to find Barry Baker in your heat? Many of the Masters racing some of the ROAR events are full sponsored drivers who can still compete rather well in the open field....shouldn't they be forced to stay there?

On a side note, I tried to get Pfizer to sponsor the masters class at our nats last year, I actually hit them up, Bayer (levitra), Lilly Icos (cialis) and Poise (depends). From what I recall Pfizer was the only one that responded, something to the effect of "Although we appreciate your novel approach, we unfortunately have no more marketing funds, blah, blah, blah"

Heck, Eli is the reason I retired! I had no chance of winning with him and Frank and Skip and Jimmy and.........................................
Masters should be open to anyone of legal age that can withstand the verbal abuse and the secrete initiation at Cleveland. Barry Baker in Masters The boys would never let him finish a heat!
