I just bought a new Futaba 3PKS radio. I'm assuming that the Spektrum DSM module for the Futaba 3PK will work in the new 3PKS radio but I want to make sure before I buy one. I figure at least one of you raceaholics would know.

I'm thinking of getting one too for my 3PKS.
check out the Spektrum web site and you'll see that they also offer the 3PK HRS system.

Why the HRS sysyem? you can't use the new micro receiver, SR3500(love it). The difference between the Pro & HRS is less than 2/1000 of a second, You will love the size of SR3500, free up a lot of space.

And I think with HRS you also have to use futaba servos too.

any digital servo will work with the HRS

Does anyone offer the just the 3PK without all the extras so I can add the Spektrum without paying for stuff I'm not going to use?

When I popped in my Airtronics 94360 it tried to just spin it nonstop in one direction. Had to turn off HRS mode.

All Fut. 3PK system are sold with tx module and rx.

that's odd.. I used KO servos on mine...works fine..
but I don't have the DSM system yet.

Thats why I went for the regular Futaba Spektrum PRO system, and not the specific HRS system.

I didn't have any futaba servos to try on it, I bought my 3PKS with just the synth module/reciever.

my 3PKS with Spektrum HRS module and rec works great with my ics 2363 KO servo....
