i had a problem when i soldered my motor once the connection wasnt quite right and this cause major glitching... so if you frequently unsolder/resolder you joints make sure the wire is exposed or anything like that. skotty diodes help too if you have a foward/brake only speed control.

Default Intellect Cells

Hey Dave,

What's your experience with Intellect Cells ? I've heard that they're mighty tough. Tests has been conducted in Japan where these cells are "cooked" to 70 degrees C without much detrimental effect !! It this true ?

tornado,
I have a few of these cells with me now.
What i have is the raw unzapped cells.

I find them a little lacking in punch, but it's just been the first 8 cycles. I do find them getting better a bit after a couple of runs

I'm not sure if they really 'like' the high temperatures, but after a run they are hot enough to scald my palms.

I have been using them for about a month now and I really like them they have a load of punch and lots of run time... now as far a temp is concerned.. they tend to like heat but 70C is pushing it

You're right 'bout them liking to be heated up.....I've done a test charging them in an air-conditioned room with an ambient temp of around 20 degees C and another test in my pit , ambient temp around 34 degrees C and conclusion is that they performed best in hotter ambient than cold. ....though they tend to have more run time in cooler ambient.
