So.I.wouldnt actually suggest doing this mod. It turns out to be expensive and a little giddily to get right.
It's basically 302506 with modified arms, the EXOTEK zero steering link and two of the exotek steering braces. So all up around 90$ lol. You also have to flip the steering knuckles around add shims and use associated ball ends. So you can do.org but wait for the.EXOTEK release, I will be lol.

My TC6TEK Conversion ready to go.

Tamiya Shocks with Exotek black hardware.

First impressions were great with my standard TC6 setup. More overall grip and a very smooth/balanced easy to drive feel. Very similar to a 417x although seems to generate more mechanical grip. A lot less chassis scrape with the narrower chassis which makes the car more predicatble in sweepers. l will post my base Medium grip asphalt setup soon.

Definetly makes the car a lot easier to work on and looks prettier

My times improved by a fraction on first run with some tweaking should get faster, I race on medium grip asphalt so will be interested in your setup Velocitygt, the only thing I have done for mine was slightly heavier springs and as I said got faster.

Will the TAMIYA blocks work with this conversion also?? Also is the new dual bell crank steering going to bolt to this chassis or is another chassis going to be released?

Where did you pick up the TAMIYA shocks?? What did you have to do to mount them to the car??

The Tamiya Shocks are from here
And the Black hardware is from here

They fit right on, Just use with TC6 (not TC6.1) shock ball cup bottoms with a 1mm shim before your screw it on. Total shock length 63mm.

The TC6Tek Chassis has holes for both the standard TC6 steering system and the upcoming Exotek one.

Yes Tamiya blocks will work with this car.

Cheers!
