How are those aftermarket aluminum front caster mounts coming? Will we see them available soon?
I just approved the caster mount (aluminum) and placed the order, should be ready in 2-3 weeks....

You mentioned..."the pillow ball pulls right through the steering knuckle too easily for my taste..." Hows that happening...? You mean if you hit a board, it will pulled that right out..? I am trying to picture that and see there are any solution for that right now....

Great!

Yes I brushed the outside wall going down the straight and the pillow ball pulled right through and was left in the arm. On the same track I've had much harder hits with my CRC 1/12th scale, also with a pillow ball steering knuckle, and not had any problems with it pulling through.

I am very confused why Speed Passion do not have front and rear wings on there site to add to my SP1. Why are you happy for us to buy other brand parts?

Let us know when the caster mount comes in. I'm guessing this will be 185mm?

Hello everybody, I'm from Italy and I like very much the SP1. My question is: are there any option parts available to convert the front end in 185 mm width?
many thanks for your help

The aluminum caster mount for the front that allows for 185mm should be out any day now. But in the mean time if you want all you have to do is drill 2 holes to make the plastic one work. Solara posted pictures some pages back on how to do it.

Here is Rob King setup for the SP1, he received his car 2 weeks ago and spend about 2 days to do the conversion that I did (see previous pages on this thread) with some extra adjustment that he prefer...TQ and won both weekends of the F1 event at LHR including the point series over chassis like VBC, F104 WGP and even couple F101. And he has not practice with this car before (except driving mine a week before) and he even TQ his own lap times over his one of the best F1 car the F104WGP (he is practicing F104 for the Tamiya National).

This car has no option parts on it (because we don't have any for now...LOL)...simply the DIY setup and tons of driving skill.

Track is 1/8th size large track but with the infield shortened for electric racing, 80% of the full size track used.
