Interestingly, I've spoken with racers and checked out their 1/12th rides here in Japan and they swear by the Team Powers V1 and V2 motors. Everyone runs them, I mean everyone. If you want to be in the A-main you need a Team Powers motor. The V1 is slightly better than the V2, the Actinium is not so hot.

Oddly enough, the Actinium IS the v2 with a small modification to make it US legal. It really should have near-zero effect on performance.

Weird, then why do Team Powers offer Plutonium V1 and V2 motors? I guess it has to do with different countries with differing motor regulations. I guess they came out with the Actinium for the American market.

Yea, that. The v2 and Actinium are quite similar. The v1 is a bit different, not necessarily bad, just different.

Here's a better photograph of the two damaged sensors.

I can honestly say I have never seen a sensor board that burned up. Please take it back to the retailer that sold it to you.

The Actinium also comes with the 12.5mm rotor, which probably isn't the way to go for 1s (1/12th) racing. The Plutonium came with a 12.3mm rotor and it revs like hell, so is great for 1s racing.

An Actinium with a 12.3mm rotor should be just as good.

Actinium is loads better for boosted TC racing though.

I am quite confused how it could be out 20 degrees, my board has one sensor that is out 2 degrees and you can tell which one it is by looking at it. If the sensor is really out 20 degrees it must have fallen off the sensor board.
Yea that's not me, I have trouble soldering big wires onto my motor, I'll probably not mess with the tiny wires on the sensor board. I haven't taken my Team Powers motor apart, but the senor boards on my other motors look like the sensors are surface mounted to the board.

We run 2 cell 21.5 in Japan.

In Japan you should have access to a +6 Timing endbell. This will allow timing up to 70 degrees, you should look into it.

Won't 70 degrees make the motor spin the wrong way?

Oh, we don't run the 12.5 rotors in Japan. We throw in a 13.0 mm rotor instead.
