Interestingly, I've spoken with racers and checked out their 1/12th rides here in Japan and they swear by the Team Powers V1 and V2 motors. Everyone runs them, I mean everyone. If you want to be in the A-main you need a Team Powers motor. The V1 is slightly better than the V2, the Actinium is not so hot.

An Actinium with a 12.3mm rotor should be just as good.
Actinium is loads better for boosted TC racing though.

If you can do that, you have really, really steady hands and good soldering skills.
I am quite confused how it could be out 20 degrees, my board has one sensor that is out 2 degrees and you can tell which one it is by looking at it. If the sensor is really out 20 degrees it must have fallen off the sensor board.

The Actinium also comes with the 12.5mm rotor, which probably isn't the way to go for 1s (1/12th) racing. The Plutonium came with a 12.3mm rotor and it revs like hell, so is great for 1s racing.
An Actinium with a 12.3mm rotor should be just as good.
