It is an Aluminum Top Plate or front triangle as I usually call it and it will suffice to stiffen up the front end a little and helps steering be a bit more accurate.

It is already in stock.

Hum im pretty sure that would work on the 1.0 also ? Do you think it would make the Front end to stiff running on dry outdoor tracks ?

It will work with the 1.0 as well. No I don't think it will make the front end too stiff.

I usually keep the top plate in place. I remove the two screws in the steering posts (carefull not to lose the bearings), the bolts holding the torque rod to the chassis, and the screws holding the steering links to the spindles. Easier that way, IMO

Not for the Ten series at lease from TLR. Not sure if anyone else has come out with something.

This is just the first one I found in a google search but 1,000,000 diff fluid can be spooned in as well!

Curious...

For anyone who raises their vehicle up to maximum travel (just so the tires are about to not touch the surface), does your vehicle compress back down to ride height (when you let it go gently -- not like you would do if you were to check ride height)?

I'm not sure what's going on. I drilled out all the arms, everything feels free, but when I get the shocks back on the truck, they don't seem to compress, rebound as one would think. Not sure if the weight just isn't there to settle it back down to ride height (like a buggy would be)?

Maybe the piston/oil pack is too great for this to occur?

I had a problem with my rear hubs rubbing the rod ends. This was from running the hubs all the way back.

Hubs rubbing the rod ends? You are going to have to explain a bit more.

They are back to point wher the tie rod ball cup/rod end is causing friction at full compression/extension?

Yes the rubbing was causing inconstant ride height & problems similar to the one you described.

Two things. If you are doing this on a towel or high friction surface the tires may have too much friction to slide and return to ride height. This is why you see most poeple check ride height on a plexiglass setup board or on a glass counter top. Second make sure you don't have the sway bars or the top shock nuts too tight which can bind up the shocks.

I think they are still working on this. Are you looking for his nats setup from last weekend?

A less expensive alternative for diff locker fluid:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traction-Goo...item19dfebe66b

I actually got a bottle for much less in an auction listing (he starts the auctions at one cent).
