Thanks,Will give it a shot.Mario.

i am looking at the FT TC4. i will be running on asphalt all the time. i was looking at the pro 4, but i dont like how it includes a front one-way. i can honestly say that i can't control a car with a front one-way in it.

how is the out-of-box performance? i like the feature that you can adjust the chassis stiffness to match the track. how does everybody like it(primarily asphalt racers)?

so the FT TC4 doesnt come with a bettery strap, does it come with some sort of tape to hold down the batteries, and if so does this mean that you have to keep using a new piece of tape every time that you put a new battery in??

yes, unfortunately. however, you shouldn't have to take out the battery that much.

Default K-Factory nitro TC3 steering rack

Anybody know if the K-Factory nitro TC3 steering rack will fit on the FT TC4.

Just want to get rid of a little slop.

Thanks,
E

Default Nitro Sterring

Does this require any modifications (Drilling new holes) or is it a bolt on.

Thanks,
E

Macnkitty: Out of the box. Very good. Just a few subtle changes depending on the amount of traction. The best car AE has built. The taping the battery thing is ...different. Straping tape from any store works well. Depending on how many things you run into. It is reusable. But, after getting a bunch of rubber, and sand (nationals). I was changing it every other run.

i've been using this since its been out, probably a good 50+ packs and not a single sign of battery ejection. i use the #1787 Battery Strap thumbscrew in conjuction with the strap.
ill quote myself since it looks like my previous post was ignored...
thought i'd bump it for those still wondering about a battery strap.

looks like i don't have to worry about the battery strap since you mentioned that they make one. looks like that wont be a problem.

what do you mean by subtle changes? do those changes require purchasing extra parts?

yup, they fit, but you'd have to replace the shock ends with associated ones or replace the ball ends on the arms with tamiya ones.

What size spur gear are people running for stock. 64 pitch of course. I know it'll take up to about a 96 or 100 but I am curious as to what size spur gears to start with.
