Josh: thanks! just to clarify, are those compounds regardless of band (Jaco/TRC)? thanks again for the help. cant wait to revive my 12th scale. i really love that class! our rides have been shelved for quite some time now, ever since the local carpte track shut down. oh, and double pinks are sligtly softer than purples right? sorry for all the questions. just wanna get it right.

Rookie Solara... Josh does not drive anything for Team Trinity anymore. He drives the 1/12 that he designed himself. You can check out pictures of it here... http://www.rctech.net/events/clevela.../index10.shtml

Default CEFX avaliabilty in the UK

hey josh

the brca comitee have recently approved your new shell as a reynard, with alot of numbers and letters after it!

this makes it legal for use at BRCA nationals, when can we expect it to be readily avaliable from helgar? i could really do with some more steering, 'cus we're not allowed to use the parma or trinity or ascari

oh and thanks for your setup tips from the old techtalk site, they have helped no end, i have since had a chassis machined for me, out of 2.4 instead of 3.0, and its transformed the car. 3.0mm is just TOO stiff for UK grip! it needs a bit more testing on it to get it spot on..... but it feels as if it can get there, and after my performance at the last nat (my PB ever!, 6th in the A) i have gained loads of confidence with it.

thanks for your previous help, and i wait in anticpation for your answers...

thanks

I was gonna say the only Reynard I could think of was the Oreca Playstation ones with the full hoop. You guys across the pond get all the cool stuff.

Quick question Josh...will you continue to run the G4 or will you go to another 200mm chassis? I assume you will change??

rice98w - I'll try to post a pic here. We are working on the web site now so hopefully we will have it up in the comming week or two!! Reynard? I guess is does kinda look like it...lol... It wasn't meant to be that but hey, that's cool!! As soon as Helger orders bodies they will have them!! The chassis for the CEFX 12 is .110 (2.75mm). The car generates loads of traction though so I don't think a thinner chassis will be needed. For asphalt we will make a different chassis.

dr_hfuhuhurr - There is no right or proper answer to this question... Corner speed is generated from a chassis with a good balance of front and rear traction - That's why racing is so interesting - You can set-up 6 totally different cars and achieve the same lap time (if everyone is on equal tires).

Rookie Solara - I don't race for Trinity anymore so I don't know anything about the Reflex...

ROBORAT - Yeah, the tire compounds are the same (except Jaco Double Pink = TRC Magenta). Double Pinks are softer than Purples...

CIVIC91 - KMac is right - I'm running Kyosho's FW-05R for this comming season!!!
