I think most of em just use a dremel, but I could be wrong. I dont own a TC3 so I dont know everything they do to the chassis, but if you just want to move the batteries closer to the center, I think a file if your best bet.

That looks good. Associated should have done that with their graphite chassis...

If you are interested send me an e-mail.

I think he is referring to milling the battery slot. So that you can move the batteries in toward the center more. But that looks like a good idea. I just got my FTTC3 and am getting ready to mill the battery sectiion, looks like I might be milling that section as well.
Looks really good Manfredo!
Does anyone have any pics of the battery modification. I have an idea, but I would like to see a pic of it.
Thanks,

There has been loads about this already in the tc3 thread over the past few months. Look for pictures there.

No milling machine... all Dremel, file, and time! Manfredo... i like the clean lines on your chassis... that is one of the cleanest milling jobs i have seen in some time. Even detailed around the antenna mount... sweet! There are quite a few guys on here that do GERAT mill work, and sell the chassis. I think Ray Huang is one... but dont quote me. Im going from my memory on past postings i have read... and we all know what happens to memory as we get older!
