The trick to the yearly Xray thread is to not look at it until the actual release date. Everything posted prior to the actual release date can practically be copied/pasted from the first ten or twenty pages of ANY previous Xray thread... the names may change, the discussion stays mostly the same.

Andso they release a new car every year, they ARE a business.. business is about the $$$. Some brands make big changes every few years and replace a bunch of parts at once. The fact that I can still use a bunch of T2/T3 era parts on my current cars... awesome.

I saw these chassis run at a national level event in Denver earlier this year and the cars were just awesome. Michael Toth's XRAY was just amazing on track. They waited a little long to release it seeing as the T4 2015 is going to be out in 2 months but I could not help but order one. I like all my AVID offroad stuff so I am guessing that there onroad stuff is just as good. Glad they posted his set up on the site so I have a good place to start. Hope they do one for the T4'15.

We had good results with them at Mile high, and they recently just came out with some more options, such as the top deck, and pre cut chassis for the ARS..

That would have been a great chassis for the USVTA nationals this past weekend. The gravity tires and great traction were pretty hard to deal with!

I've been running the AVID T4 '14 chassis in my mod car lately. I just got my order in for Worlds and am putting my second car together atm. I think the guys have been running this chassis and just swapping between the 1.5 and 2.0 top deck depending on surface and traction levels. Let us know how it goes for ya.
