I might try a 40wt in the rear. A good thing too is have the VM2 go thru a setup station. Get all the kinks out.

Almost done.... just need to get a new ESC and paint a body. Trying our TRF mini shocks this time, little bit smoother than the stockers.

I am using 50wt. all around and the 2 hole pistons.

Using Muchmore Racing 45WT with TAMIYA TRF 3-hole internals.

Almost done building my VM2. I replaced all the ball cups/ball ends with TAMIYA. Aluminum blue screws on top and stock on the bottom. The shock internals are all TAMIYA.

So best set up advise I could give would be use the manual. It says 5mm droop in front 4mm in rear. Thats what I am doing with 5mm ride height all the way around! Works like a charm. 45wt shock oil front and 40wt rear. 2mm camber front and rear. 0 toe in front and 3mm rear. have tried several bodys and all have worked well.

Back in stock again at egrracing.com . Looks like plenty of parts available as well.

Just bought one, been lusting over this & the Fujin for years now.
Great thing is my spare xray diffs should fit.

What body should I get. What fits ??
Most of the Spec-R race bodies are out of stock everywhere, and the SPEC-R give the wheelbase on those bodies, not very helpfull.
I had to just get a Blitz Mini RS4 WB 210mm body, Im hoping it actually fits.

Any spares I'll need? I bought diff gears & suspension arms.

ABC bodys fit perfectly! I bought a sedan boby that worked great from Spec R. Problem was they wouldnt let me run it at my local track!

Time to rebuild my VM2.
I would really like to upgrade it with the new Lipo version chassis instead of the old one. Anyone knows if the newer chassis is compatible with the previous model parts?

Yes, see my post on 9/20. It will all bolt up. Only minor issue is the servo is moved in and back more ever so slightly. So you'll need to adjust the steering turnbuckle from servo to steering post.
