New Corally SP12SLX...
Hi guys,
Corally have released the new chassis to compliment the SP12SL, called the SP12SLX:
This is the 'AR' (anti-roll) version with the beam front end, but will take a regular AE L4 type front end also. Another version will be released in the new year that will take the newer R5 type front end.
I have been doing a fair amount of testing, with differant types of front ends plus changing the battery position (sideways and lengthways). One thing is for sure, there's plenty of room for any size of electronics and plenty of varients for everyone to get the balance just right.
Feel free to ask any questions, cheers!
Chris.

Are they going to offer a version with the Corally rims and diff?
I had the SP12 and G3 back in the day and loved the Corally parts.

Lol, well, the kit would come with a carbon centre part that essentially stopped the front end from doing anything useful!! I'm fully on a history trip now! don't think I have any 12M bits left, but plenty of 12x stuff.

Did they finally make front axles that fit the corally hubs (12M, euro etc) but with US front wheels?

Yep, there are 2 axles to choose from, 1 is steel the other is ali'. The bearings in the blocks are replaced with plastic bushings and then regular bearings fit onto the axle and then onto your US spec front wheels. The other thing you can do is try to find the orginal Corally Pro10 axles, as US spec front wheels push straight onto those without the need for bearings in the wheels, as the bearings for those axles are in the blocks (live axle). Cheers!
