I had been running 16/40 with my 4000kv SC401 in the SCTE. It never got over 150F at that gear ratio.

SC411's are available for pre-order on http://builtrc.com hoping they come in this week.
I pre ordered mine about a week ago. Are these in yet, if not any indication of when they will arrive? My SC10 4x4 needs some propulsion

Thanks.

We had hoped that they would be here this past week. Unfortunately I've been told that tenshock doesn't provide any tracking info. They just show up. I did hear there was a slight delay last week due to an issue tenshock had with the shipping dept. hoping for late next week.

Default Axial EXO

Would a 4600 work well for the Axial EXO? From their website:

For maximum performance, we recommend a 540 or 550 sized brushless motor.
· Minimum 4 pole 540 recommended (3300KV or more)
· Maximum 550 4.5T recommended

What would be your choice. Running with a xerun 150A

In their demo video they run a HAVOC PRO SC/BALLISTIC 550 SHORT COURSE SYSTEMS WITH X-DRIVE™ 4.5T

Which motor would be closest to this? I live in a rainy area and do not race. Avoiding sensored due to rain.

Due to the fact it weighs 5lbs without electronics I personally would use a 4000kv for bashing which is going to run cooler and is more powerful than the Novak 4.5t.

Awesome looking buggy !!

Anybody got their hands on one of the SC411's yet? I'm really interested in seeing a review or hearing some first hand info from someone comparing it with the tekin....

thx

Dont own a Tekin but will be testing it vs the sensorless version of the motor

Start with a 12-13t. Hard to give exact numbers because of so many variable's.
