just a guess here by his other posts and time of these posts he is in China or somthing, these look like different anno'd castle motors.

Stick with castle. For one it doesn't say "for 1/0 shortcourse brushless motor" on the can.

Two, you can get the sct combo and sell the esc, making that motor the same price as this one.

Three, support.

Four, proven.

Castles great, but it doesnt have a 5mm shaft and cant compare the the specs of these motors.
200amp max
2000watts

and the 1/8 motor, a 6 pole motor, freaking thing makes 5hp.

I've been racing with Tenshock's motor for the past 1 year (6 pole on my buggy, 8 pole on my truggy and recently the 4 pole on my SC truck). Its the best sensorless 1:8 scale motor i've used so far.
