I initially tried 1.5 in mine, did not like it at all. Went to 3 degrees and havent changed it. The other guys I run with also pretty much stick with 3 degrees and tune around that. Oh and BTW I hate you for getting your 410 before me

Regarding the ball diff build, is it necessary to get a Circlip plier like the vid suggested? can I use two small screw drivers instead?

Does anyone know of a way to get ahold of these guys? I had ordered a set of the pistons drill bits, almost 3 weeks ago, and there is nothing, no return emails from them about when it will be here, as of today it still says Processing. The stuff was supposedly in stock when I bought it. Why would it take the item almost a month to process? I just want my money back, and cannot reach anyone there.

The pliers aren't necessary to install (though I recommend it), but they are needed for removal.

Go to Harbor Freight to get them, I got a complete set of those pliers for $3.50. They are called retaining ring pliers.

Just pm MantisWorx on rctech. Its the same guy. Email might not be the best way to get a hold of him. He always delivers the stuff and makes things right.

If you want to get tiny drill bits cheaper than that, you can use grainger or mcmaster carr for tiny metric sizes.

I found a set at Harbor Freight for $3.00 has 3 1.00mm, 2 1.1mm,2 1.2mm, 2 1.3mm, 2 1.4mm. But Honestly it turned out easier to just epoxy the holes shut.

What type of surface do you run on? If medium bite clay try my OC/RC setup. Everyone who has driven it has really liked it. It is the most balanced the car has ever been.

Thinking about running blinky for a few races. Can anybody tell me what max pinion will fit with 69 & 75 spur? Anybody find one spur better to their liking than the other?

For a 69 tooth I fit on a 35 without issue. Also on my Reedy Sonic I advanced the timing on the motor to 40 degrees, still did not get very hot. Temps were in the 130's. Car was one of the fastest in stock buggy. This is assuming your running a 17.5 in blinky mode.

How do you like the Reedy Sonic? Have you used the Orions before? I currently use Orion motors and love them but the price of the Sonic is more attractive.
