Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

DROOP. I have to say we have never really bothered with it. If you build the shocks so that when fully extended there is no preload on the springs, you shouldn't have any problems.

I have gone one further, and used slightly longer shock shafts on my MR4 Sp. This gives me even more droop, but the car clings to the tarmac beautifully. I compensate the body roll with anti roll bars both front and back.

Happy new year to all.

regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Hi Guys,

Happy new year! Just want to let you guys know we have the MR-4TC SP Ver.2 in stock. Also, Yokomo USA has informed us that they have brought in a limited number of the silver graphite chassis, upper deck, F/R Shock tower that you see on Masami's car to United States. We should have them on our website next week

Thanks

I take it the Silver Stuff will only be available as seperate items...no silver plated car will be available in kit form?

Thanks for the info.

Jeff, I don't believe there are any plans to put out a kit with the graphite chassis.

I heard it from a friend of mine who is very close to Yokomo Japan team, he told me that Yokomo is developing a new TC car but no release date has been planified yet.
I also had a chat with Yokomousa who confirmed the development of a new TC that should be released next May.

I don't know if it will be belt, shaft or a mix... just wanted to know if anyone else has more info.

ciao

you sure thats not just a SP version 2? seems odd that yok would bring out the SP Version 2 and then replace it so quickly afterwards.

Sanj,

I am sure,
SP ver 2 is just a MR4TC with a lot of refinements, it is time for Yokomo to release a new TC.
I really love my MR4tc SP and have received the new silver graphite parts, will test it very soon. and I must say that this car has enough option parts for me and I really want a new car from Yokomo.

I think they released the ver 2 to help the sales a little because I don't think they've been selling a lot of MR4 Sp lately.

It seems likely that the new car will be presented at the big hobbyshow held in Japan in april. Also Hpi's new car will propably be shown at the same time.
