I no longer hate the rear ride height adjustment. It's not wonderful mind you but if you remove the rear axle like you would on a car with the plastic ride height inserts... fiddling with the shims is much easier with the axle assembly removed.

only way to do it. Undo the non drive side and then do each carrier independently

Exactly. I feel a bit silly for not realizing this until now LOL. Shims like the front would still be awesome however. VBC did it on their car.

Also keep extra spur gears handy. The 64pitch are fragile when things are rough at first.
Other than that, X-ray product is worth the extra dough. They are tough little cars.

Yeah, I really broke very few parts on this car. Most of my breaks were things like screws pulling out...when I placed alu or titanium in the wrong place...learning curve.
Agree with the above post, though.

I have the Xray solid rear axle and have a question about spur gears. It appears that this axle on accepts Xray spur gears. I have tried a few other brands but they don’t seem to fit the Xray axle. Does anyone have a list of spur gear brands that will work with the solid rear axle? Or am I doing something wrong trying to fit a Kimbrough or Axon spur gear.
Thanks!
