Hi guys
I removed most of the play in the front end fixing the steering block in the kingpin with m3 little screw and using mugen ball and eyelet, now I have zero camber play, but I have too much up and down play coming from lower suspension. How can I reduce it ? I'm thinking to fix with a screw the ball to suspension, the kingpin will rotate into the ball, no the ball into suspension, but should be free enough. Suggestions?

I just assembled my 2017 kit (got one for cheap after the 2018 release ), and got the chance to hit the track for the first time in ~10 years.
Going down the straights, I realized my car was pulling to the left at high speeds, but not at low speeds (steering trim was perfectly zero'ed).
Looking at the rear axle more carefully, I noticed it is not centered. The right side of the car (passenger side) wheel sticks out further than the left side wheel. I have confirmed this my measuring to the center pod hole. Each side has a single 1mm shim for track width, and the rear end is built exactly how the manual states.
Does anyone know what is going on?! Perhaps I have the wrong left/right hub? I am at a loss...

I figured it out.
My 2017 Manual shows 1mm spacer on each side (not the 6mm difference needed between each side).
The 2017 Manual on Xray's website is correct and shows this.
The 2018 Manual on Xray's website is correct and shows this. (Although the 2018 car now has a single 6mm wide spacer instead of multiple smaller ones.)
So it looks like there is an error in my manual that was later corrected. Hopefully this can help others in need.

I found the same thing, my car would sort of traction roll on one side, I changed a few things but it still was there, then when I was upgrading to the alum chassis I saw it as clear as day. I pulled out my calibers and measured, good thing I had axle spacers to shim it out. should be a lot better now.

Just building this as my first onroad car (got it as a trade for one of offroad buggies).
Not much of a racing scene for these here in Sydney so just looking to set it up for fun.
Any recommendations for a new road driver on motor? 17.5t, 21.5t, 13.5t?
Also i notice it looks like 1s is the norm for these?

Sorry, I'm away from home, otherwise I'd also recommend gearing. Any idea what tire diameter you are starting with?

50/76 is good for 17.5...rollout of about 81-83 w tires at about 41 to 42mm. Depends on motor of course.
