I run all the way forward with the rear hubs, if there's alot of traction and I feel like the rear is to locked in, then I would move to middle or back. Everyone drives differently so it's best to just experiment.

Yep. Frankly, I find it nearly impossible to make this truck drive poorly. No matter where I set things, aside from the battery to distribute a bit more weight rearward, or what fluids I use, the thing is rock solid. Dial down the brakes, turn off any drag, and go for it.

I've heard this is the case, but at $40 a pop, for a top notch 6000/65c, I will wait

Mine took 6 weeks total from the day I ordered , took almost 2 weeks just to process the order !

Dont see much difference between these and the Gens Ace 2s packs either , though they seem just as light and have 1000mAh extra in them so hopefully the longer mains wont be a problem now .

Question about emulsion shocks...

Are you guys finding they help on really blown out and bumpy tracks? I run on outdoor, 8th scale tracks with little track maintenance and wouldn't mind trying the shock mod.

Well, it can and cant depending on what is suffering due to the blown out track. If you are coming off jumps and bumps and its a bit loose, it can help with this. If you are having trouble tracking through ruts, it may now...go to a bit more camber for this.

I found that the truck was struggling with the rutted take offs on the jumps, and it was a little loose in the rear when going through rutted sweepers.

So increasing camber a degree or two will help with the sweepers, and emulsion shocks help with jumps and bumps?

What's the case ? Slow shipping ? If you pick the best option it Shouldn't be more than a week or 2. On multiple occasion's ive opted for the slower shipping method and still received them in less then 2 weeks up in Canada. Imo Hobbyking prices are near impossible to beat.

PS there's a reason these packs are Constantly Backordered.

Default New SCTE

I just realized that I finally got my hands on an SCTE and haven't posted pics
of it in here. It's not as flashy as some of the crazy airbrush stuff I've seen,
but I'm proud of my rattle can paint job nonetheless.

I've learned a lot from this thread and the customer support that I've seen in
here heavily influenced my decision to get one!

Need bumber suggestions please
Running on a 8th scale track with the ballistic 4.5 and as the battery gets weaker jumps became harder. Didnt clear the biggest jump by a hair after a 8min run and it nose planted pretty hard. Odd thing is the front was ok but I'm guessing the rear snapped when it rolled over. Now I need a bumper. Should I get another stock or go with a tbr Tbone? Just wondering if the tbone was made just for bashing and will it effect the track while driving? I'm planning on racing it when my sc skills get better.

Also when I installed my T8 I had to remove the bottom chassis screws to the center mount and then set the mesh. It sits at an angle and also won't slide back out unless I remove the chassis center mount screws again. Before I start grinding parts down does anyone know where to start so I can avoid trail and error?
Thanks
