You guys must have got lucky. I tried two different sets from HB, both sets had at least two that required file work to even fit into the arm at all, and they all fit poorly. For the price, they should have been ABSOLUTELY perfect!

How new were the arms? I've seen pictures of arms that look like they had seen their share of abuse, and the stock covers didn't want to fit very well.

Ok, so how do u "seal" the edges? I've seen something about ca glue? Does the chassis itself need to be chamfered for wear durability? I just want things to last, as I said I have very little carbon fiber experience. Thanks again all

Hi guys.

I want to share my experience with the kyosho X-rings. In my opinion they are very smooth and nice, BUT, they build up rebound (take in air) way faster than the orange stock ones, and the purple durango. So the smoothness comes with at price. For 5 minutes race i would use them, but not for training. 2 batteries and the rebound is 100%. And yes i use green slime and know how to build shocks. Advises are very welcome

Best to soak the xrings in shock oil for half a day to a day before building the shocks. The xrings are a bit too small to start with, and need to swell some first. Green slime actually retards this process and makes the shocks leak/suck air longer.
