Default Charge time...

I´m completely new to Lipo so this questions may seem dumb...but here goes. How long time does it take to charge a Lipo 5000 or similar @ 1C. And after a 5 min heat in modified touring how long time does it take to charge up to full level again? Thanks!

I have tested SMC's 5200 40C lipo packs extensively, against higher end lipos from other major brands, on track and with my GFX, basically to find the ultimate pack to run in a major stock touring car race I attended recently.

I have to say the 5200 40C is by far quite superior to other lipos, in terms of discharge curve, straight line speed and out of corner acceleration.

Danny, I read somewhere you posted that these packs perform better after a few cycles on the same day!

My question is, how soon after a run can we recharge your lipos?

Would charging 5 mins after a run, or even straight after a run, cause any longevity problems?

I have heard with lipos in general that you should wait till it cools down to room temp, but who has the time

You can charge a Lipo back up when your ready to recharge it. I have done 6 cycles in a row with no major change in numbers. In fact when you charge it right after a discharge it will comeback down in temperature as Lipos really don't get warm/hot when charging.

Default Confused as usual :-)

I'm using an Hyperion charger to charge and balance my Lipo's. I have this adapter:

And just purchased this Lipo from SMC,

As you can see, the connector on the Lipo will not plug into the hyperion adapter. Where in the world can I get the proper connector, or extension?

You need to purchase the XH adapter board. Normally stores that sell Hyperion chargers will have these adapter boards.

I'm after the following

2s 5000mah +
3s 5000mah +
5s 5000mah + (not sure if these are avabilable)

TIA

I noticed some places have the 5200 40c packs at discounted prices and are labeled being under the 5200 mah rating. Since the others weren't available, and price was right...I sprung for 2. Any concerns with power output, or loss of mah or performance I should know about?

Thanks...
Kevin

Are you saying they are "by far quite superior" to the Thunder Power 5000 40c's ?
