Danny,

Will those 40C 5200's void the warranty on my gear?

All I know is that my Tekin RSpro can handle the amps but can my drive line and motors handle the power?

If the 40C's are shipping I'll have my LHS make an order

Actually the 40C packs have better IR and voltage but on the track it's not a huge difference as our 24C and 28C packs have really good numbers as well. In limited motor classes the difference is not that noticeable. In higher amp draw situations you definately can feel more power.

We just got a new shipment today and were doing our best to fill out backorders.

Now for the predictable follow up question. Any idea when? I've been running your 5000 28c for a while. I can't remember the last time I wasn't the quickest car at the meeting! (down the straight at least!) Unfortunately this wont be legal next season as I'm sure you are aware.

i haven't logged on in awhile, so please forgive if this has already been asked.
i'm not sure if it is roar rules or specific series rules that limits lipos to 5000mah.
if it is roar, has that been changed now to accomodate the new 5200mah packs?

thanks

Danny,

One of the balance leads broke off inside my 2 month old 40C pack. Is there any type of warranty to cover this or am I SOL?

As long as it is not the middle wire of the balancing lead, you can still balance the pack.
See the how-to at the bottom of this page:
http://nexusracing.com/newsdesk_info.php?newsdesk_id=72

I have my charger wired up this way so I can balance-charge any style pack with the same charging/balancing leads. Only the middle wire is neccessary on a 2S pack.

If you can do what Nexus is doing than you will be fine.

If you can't send me an email or PM and we will figure something out.

Am I getting this right for limited motor classes do you mean 17.5/13.5 motors?
