I finished 8th at the Trinity race in WV. Had a good day overall but my clutch beraings went out about 23 mins into the 30 min main. Car is getting better every week, this was only my second race with the car, so I'm still looking for "my" set up but I am extremly happy so far.

Sup guys!
In the process of building my SX8, got some questions. It is almost done, waiting on a few parts and I still need to paint the body.
In building my SX8, I had problems with the steering posts, they are about 1-2mm too short, and were causing the steering to bind. I had a set of King Heads for a Kyosho, and they work great (correct length), smooth steering both ways. Anyone else have this problem? Everything else fit great, one of the upper shock mounts wasn't threaded so I used one out of the small shock kit. Also had a few of the balls for the ball ends in the wrong bags. Otherwise it has just been incredible to build, everything fits together well.
The big bore shocks have a different design to what I am used to, how does that large o-ring seal? I think I have the lower cap on too tight, and it prevents the super slick movement I am used to, the o-rings are mashed in there if I tighten the lower cap all the way up to the large o-ring. Did I assemble this incorrectly?
I have been into RC for a long time, probably 10 years or more, and I have been racing a hot bodies buggy (with all Kyosho style King Heads parts, ha!) for a few years. I stopped doing anything for like a year or two, and instead of redoing the HB I chose a new whip. Can't wait to race this thing!
Any parts I should get on order, suspension arms or something? I am a decent driver but when I wreck its usually bad. I have plenty of non-specific hardware but no plastic pieces for this new buggy. Hoping to have a spare set of knuckles soon.
