Highly recommended hop-up parts for XRay T4 2016
Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new to RC and I just built a new XRay T4 2016 lately. Can you all please advise me on what are the significant or highly recommended XRay hop-up parts (must have item(s)), other than the following hop-up parts or important items that I already have.
1. All countersunk screws are titanium and others are orange aluminum screws;
2. Xray Spring Steel Solid Axle Driveshaft Adapter 2 pcs Black w/ Blades For T3 T4 (Front Solid Axles) #XR-305137;
3. T4 Carbon Fibre Graphite + Alu Fully Adjustable Battery Holder #306191;
4. Alu Dual Servo Saver Arm #302525
5. Hudy Alu Servo Horn (Sanwa, Airtronics, JR, KO Propo) - 23T #293501
6. XRay Alu XRay Shock Springs Retaining Collar - Orange # 308031-0
7. XRay T4 Foam Bumper (Hard) #301226
8. Countersunk orange alu washers (4 pieces) for servo float.
Thank you in advance.

tire wear
Hi,
when driving my T4 I get i 'ring' around the inner edge of front tire. I keep on driving and the tire opens up along that ring.
I am wondering, is this ring due to something wrong in the setup?
It is mostly the left front tire, we have a clockwise racing track.
Thanks!

Is pretty normal to see after extended running, but some suffer earlier in their life than others (volante for example).
It can be a result of excessive camber and/or camber change, but if your running normal setups (1-2° camber) then it's most likely tyre related than setup.

Sorry for thread jacking but I'm wondering if anyone of you guys would know if the front spool from a t4 would work in a t1? Also are the drive belts interchangeable?

Well carpet season is around the corner , we usually are back to full swing mid Aug... So I'm going to ask the question.
Has anyone give any thought to the new T5 platform ? Not that the 17 is going to be a new platform ... But thinking this 10yr old suspension is ready for a update . cause with all the new cars hitting the market with good reviews it seems this is the most common change ... Upper camber link type "Y" or "V" shaped. Which eliminates all deflection in the suspension which should make the car more consistent thru the corners . might be something to look into for those of you with some 3d printers and the desire to try something new

My first question would be what tyre?

I do get a some time driving before it happens.. I drive sorex 36 tires.
I think it is mostly by the manual when it comes to camber settings.
