You guys that are using spec-r diffs and cutting the outdrives down, are you tapering the inside edge or can you get away without?
Thanks

Take 3mm off of each outdrive. You then must taper the inside edge of the outdrive. Hope this helps.

Default Sell or run?

Hi guys

I have a brand new kit which I won at the weekend. I have 4 X-ray tc's to date so this one is really surplus to requirements but I'm a sucker for a new kit so the question is it this worth keeping and building to race or should I sell it on?
What are your experiences of the car?
Let me know your thoughts please or if. None wants to make me a serious offer I'll consider it!

Thanks

Does anyone know if these can fit those low-bonnet tamiya IFS bodies with that weird stock front suspension tower?

I think the new car (HMX2) with the gear diff will be good. It also features new towers and new motormount. The gear diff is quite innovative with some nice features. It´s a shame that few are running this car because you have not a big setup database. But it´s shown good results on the track.
