Glow plug ignitor: Whats the best?
I'm shopping for a new glow plug ignitor, theres a ton of different ones to choose from. My question is what do i look for when buying one? I know i want metered for sure. Should i go with rd logics or trinity? The one i have been using was a great planes, it burnt up and melted the meter.

I always had metered, but recently bought the Hobbico Super-Shot. When I compare it to my other ignitors, it glows the plug so much brighter than the others. Def my favorite

Best ones ever made; last forever and never had one fail (until after about 8+ years the battery died of old age)

I have had 2 losi sticks for 3 years, they are all the same, and will do the same thing, one is not better than another - just get one that metered

I dont agree, my hotshot burns WAY hotter than my Losi which means faster/easier starts, I have a Losi and it's ok.........not to mention the hotshot will outlast the Losi by up to 3x......just my experience
my standard hotshot fits my Novarossi's perfect, I run Odonnell turbo plugs.

what like to do is have a cheap no name ignitor for when i goto the pits or one i dont mind leaving around at practice.
i keep a metered ignitor around and only use it if im having problems or just as a backup incase i forgot to charge my primary one.
metered ones are too expensive to just leave laying around imo

Nope - the more mAh the longer it lasts.
