Did you really make yourself believe that????

Its Snowbirds, you are gonna get 30mins of practice and 8 hrs to do motors. NO matter if its Brushed or brushless.....

If I remember correctly its open practice at like 4:30 in the morning and all other practice was done in heats. So there is no way NOT doing motors is gonna yield more practice.

here's an idea. at the next birds race, whomever wants to run something not normally offered bring it down with you and crash one of the practices. surprise some of the guys and see if your car will hold up to the rigors. everyone likes to check out the concourse bodies and walk around talking to all the other racers about stuff sitting on their table.. just take it to the next step.

*safety alert* do not take mini-z out in the middle of foam mod touring. It's just not right!

Default Mini's

Mike,

I'm thinking the Tamiya Mini's are an awesome idea! They are manintenance easy (wont say free), easy to drive, and CHEAP (new blood in the hobby)! They could run silver can motors and a certain regulated or handout stick pack battery! Remember Tamiya class is where we both started...Anyway, I have 2 of em and Jordan and I love racing em TCS style.

I get back from another funfilled trip to the desert (gotta love the Uncle Sammie) in Jan 08' I am looking forward to seeing all you guys at the birds'

Too bad Legends cars aren't going anymore...but I think an beginners type non serious class is a great idea!

Paul

Isn't the Birds a handout race? How could you add brushless. Will that mean any motor goes?

Great idea Mason!

HI Paul great to hear ya man - hope you can come this year. Thanks for fighting for the good ol' USA!

Mike - we run some open classes and ran some brushless last year. Not sure what 2008 will bring yet. Thanks!
