Seeing as I would rather stick with 48p then go 64, what other spur size(s) should I get in order to have a little more gearing options? 84 & 82 seem to have close to a .15 (more like .17, but close enough) difference from each other. Should I get an 84t and 82t (and maybe a spare or two of each)?
edit- and a good company/ place to buy the spurs...

Before I forget to ask, can those little plastic spacers inside of the shock (you remember those, don't you? it was a tube with a triangle thingy at the end) be taken out or do I have to install longer shock ends to get my desired ride height?

looks like maybe the belt will go between the chassis and next to the little spacer thingy,
given the choice between a older lrp 7.1 and a gt7, which one would you use in mod/stock. this will only be for a weekend or two. using the bd for mod, a sdw for stock, wide open flowing track. 9x2 for mod.

Just some advise put that peice back on now......go with the 84 and get the right pinion....
Just my opinions but what do I know....LOL

... some friends of mine used a 120T spur, but had to remove some material from the brace...
i agree with the final drive ratio of 7 for the monster stock... i think this is the magic number for this motor...
